I have my own ipod touch (not a regular one) that I bought to replace my old one that was starting to leak water. I love this new ipod touch, it has all the songs I have on my ipod, plus it has tons of games. My favorite game is the one where you play the radio, and the ipod connects to your computer and plays the music you selected to play.
The biggest downside to the ipod touch is the lack of expandable memory. The 16gb model has only 1GB of internal memory, which is not enough to play most games. But it does have access to a lot of the songs I already own. I also like the fact that I can get a song that I don’t own on the ipod touch and have it play.
The ipod touch has a much shorter battery life than say the iPod nano, which has a battery life closer to the iPod classic. But for those who want to carry their music with them everywhere, the ipod touch is a great option.
The main thing I don’t like about the ipod touch is its price point. However, it is a great choice for anyone who wants to carry their music with them and I’d rather pay $40 for an mp3 player than $100+ for a more powerful music player (which is why I have a lot of music on my ipod).
ipod touch has a battery life closer to that of current generation iPods than the previous generation. However, the battery life remains the same, so even if you can get your ipod to last longer, you would still have to carry your music with you most of the time.
The battery life of the ipod is, like many other aspects of iPods, subject to the manufacturer’s personal preferences.
Apple has gotten a lot of flak lately for the way it charges its iPods when the device is turned off and the battery is drained. It’s a fair gripe, but it’s not the only way to tell you the battery is going down.
The way Apple charges its iPods when it is turned off and the battery is drained is by using a special dock connector that connects to the headphone jack. That connection is also used by other devices to charge their devices, so the iPods can be used on the go.
