I’m a big fan of apples. I just like the way they look and taste in my salads. I love them most of all in sauces, pickles, and marinades. Kim apple is a classic that I always add to any recipe I make. It’s a natural, healthy, delicious topping on pancakes and waffles, on grilled chicken and fish, or in a salad.

To make a little side dish of apples, slice the apple in half and then cut out the core. Place the apple pieces in a bowl with the sugar, cinnamon, and rosemary and stir to mix. Then brush the apple pieces with melted butter and sprinkle with apple chunks.

I’m not sure what the fuss is about, but I’m definitely using it. It’s one of the few foods you can get that doesn’t contain additives or preservatives that doesn’t cost more than your average “healthy” food. And I think it tastes just as darn good, too.

Yeah, the apple pieces would be a great addition, especially if you’re trying to get your kids to eat their vegetable of the week. But don’t use canned-in-juice apple juice since it contains added sugar. Apples are a good source of Vitamin C (which has plenty of anti-oxidants to keep you in good health) and are also a great source of fiber, which is crucial for maintaining good gut health.

The reason why apples are a great source of Vitamin C is because our bodies are full of a variety of enzymes that can quickly convert the sugar in the apple into other valuable compounds. So if you have a lot of fruit, you really want to eat it every day (well, every other day, if you really want to get their).
